View Product Features

• JBL 12 in low frequency driver with a 64 mm (2.5 in) diameter edgewound ribbon voice coil which provides more cross-sectional wire area in the voice coil gap than round wire designs, for greater efficiency and power handling.
• JBL 2414H-C 25 mm (1 in) polymer diaphragm compression driver improves high frequency performance as well as system reliability.
• The advanced network topology crossover design shapes frequency response and delivers "coherent summation" in the crossover region.
• High-voltage capacitors and inductors with massive cores and heavy gauge wire enable the crossover network to handle high power without saturating.
• Progressive Transition™ high frequency waveguide provides superior coverage control, reduced distortion, and smoother frequency response.
• The rugged, acoustically superior enclosure is constructed from 19 mm (.75 in) MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) using advanced adhesives and mechanical fastener technology for extreme durability and improved low-frequency performance.
• SonicGuard™ protects the high frequency driver from excess power without interrupting the performance.

About the JBL JRX212 JRX200 Series 12" Two-Way Stage Monitor

The JBL JRX212 is a durable and affordable two-way stage monitor designed for live sound applications where performers require clear, reliable monitoring of their own sound on stage. Part of the JRX200 series, it features a 12-inch low-frequency driver and a 1-inch titanium diaphragm high-frequency driver, housed in a rugged trapezoidal enclosure built to withstand the physical demands of the road. Its angled cabinet design is optimized for placement on stage floors, projecting sound upward toward the performer with minimal interference from the main front-of-house system. This monitor provides a balanced mix of volume, clarity, and feedback resistance, making it a practical choice for clubs, worship houses, rehearsal spaces, and mobile bands.

The monitor's acoustic design focuses on delivering strong mid-range presence and clear high frequencies, which are critical for vocal intelligibility and instrument definition on stage. The crossover network is carefully tuned to ensure smooth blending between the woofer and the compression driver, while also incorporating protective circuitry to prevent driver overload. The trapezoidal shape not only aids in directing sound but also allows for efficient space usage when multiple monitors are placed together. Its relatively high sensitivity allows it to produce substantial sound levels with moderate amplifier power, contributing to its value as an efficient monitoring tool.

Constructed from void-free plywood with a durable textured finish, the JRX212 is built to resist scratches and impacts common in touring environments. It includes steel-reinforced handles for easy transport and a steel grille to protect the drivers from accidental damage. The input panel features dual SpeakON connectors, allowing for easy daisy-chaining to additional monitors from a single amplifier channel. As a reliable, no-frills stage monitor, the JBL JRX212 offers performing musicians and sound engineers a cost-effective solution for achieving essential on-stage audio feedback with the robustness expected from professional audio equipment.
