Description
The JBL MTC-24MR is a specialized construction bracket designed to facilitate the professional installation of JBL Control 24C, Control 24CT, Control 24C Micro, Control 24CT Micro, and Control 24CT Micro Plus ceiling loudspeakers. It is commonly referred to as a "mud ring" or "plaster ring". This bracket is installed before the sheetrock (drywall) is in place, and it features a circular offset that acts as a guide for cutting the opening and applying plaster or mud, resulting in a smooth and seamless finish around the speaker cutout. The MTC-24MR comes in a gray finish and includes wings for secure attachment to the building structure, ensuring stability during the installation process. It is sold in a pack of six.
