Description

The JBL MTC-CBT-70T is a bolt-on transformer module designed to adapt the JBL CBT 70J-1 line-array speaker and the optional CBT 70JE-1 low-frequency extension module for use in 70V and 100V distributed audio systems. This allows for extended cable runs and powering multiple speakers from a single amplifier channel.

Features

• Distributed Audio System Integration: Allows CBT 70J-1 and CBT 70JE-1 speakers to be used in 70V and 100V distributed audio systems.
• Power Taps: Offers power taps at 120W, 60W, and 30W for both 70V and 100V lines, with an additional 15W tap for 70V systems only.
• Secure Connection: Features a barrier strip terminal for secure bare-wire connections.
• Watertight Seals: Includes two gland nuts for a watertight seal using round-jacketed speaker cable between 4.0 mm and 9.0 mm in diameter.
• Bolts Onto Speaker Cabinet: Attaches directly to the back of the CBT 70J-1 or CBT 70JE-1 speaker cabinet using included hardware.
• Environmental Protection: Built with a fiberglass-filled ABS enclosure, it is IP-55 rated for outdoor use.
• Minimal Insertion Loss: Ensures minimal audio quality impact with less than 1 dB insertion loss.
• UL Registered Transformer: The transformer is UL registered per UL1876.
