JBL VRX932LA 12" Two-Way Line-Array System

The VRX932LA is a lightweight and compact 12" two-way line array speaker system designed for use in arrays of up to six units. VRX932LA is the ideal choice when line-array performance is needed but the venue size doesn't call for the very long-throw characteristics of larger line-arrays such as JBL's VerTec. The Constant Curvature waveguide
mounts two compression drivers on a continuous arc. When additional VRX932LA speakers are added to the array the uninterrupted arc continues. In effect, all the drivers work together as if they were a single driver on a very long waveguide.

About the JBL VRX932LA 12" Two-Way Line-Array System

The JBL VRX932LA is a compact, high-output line array element designed for portable and installed sound reinforcement applications. This two-way system integrates a 12-inch low-frequency transducer and three 1-inch high-frequency drivers mounted on a patented progressive transition waveguide. This design facilitates precise vertical pattern control, allowing multiple cabinets to be arrayed to create a coherent wavefront that projects sound evenly over the audience area with minimal interference. The system is engineered to deliver the clarity, projection, and consistent coverage required for live music, corporate events, and houses of worship.

Built for durability and ease of deployment, the enclosure is constructed from multi-ply birch plywood with a rugged, textured black finish and features integral rigging points based on a front-and-rear interlocking array frame. This allows for quick and safe ground-stacking or flying of multiple cabinets without the need for external, complex hardware. The system's passive crossover network is optimized for high power handling and sonic accuracy, requiring connection to an external amplifier with appropriate system processing to unlock its full performance potential, including factory-preset EQ and limiting.

The VRX932LA is a cornerstone of the VRX series, known for bringing true line array performance to a more accessible form factor. Its combination of manageable size, significant output, and scalable array capability makes it a versatile choice for rental companies, touring musicians, and installers who need a system that can adapt to various venue sizes and deliver reliable, high-fidelity sound with predictable coverage.
