Juicebox JB-JBE6-01 External Battery Pack for Canon LP-E6-Type Battery (7.4v, 4800 mAh)

The Juicebox JB-JBE6-01 is an external battery pack designed to significantly extend the operational runtime of cameras and other equipment that utilize the Canon LP-E6, LP-E6N, or LP-E6NH battery type. It serves as a high-capacity external power source, ideal for demanding production scenarios such as long-form video recording, documentary filmmaking, time-lapse photography, and use with power-hungry accessories like monitors or transmitters that drain the camera's internal battery rapidly. The pack houses a robust lithium-ion battery with a substantial 4800mAh capacity at 7.4V, offering multiple times the power of a standard LP-E6 battery, thereby minimizing the need for frequent battery swaps and reducing the risk of missing critical shots during extended shoots.

The unit is engineered for versatility and durability in field conditions. It features a secure, locking DC output cable that terminates in a dummy battery designed to fit precisely into the camera's battery compartment, providing power as if from an internal source. This setup allows the camera's door to close normally or via an included pass-through door adapter, maintaining weather resistance. The battery pack itself is housed in a ruggedized case, often with a belt clip or loop for easy attachment to a camera rig, belt, or tripod leg. It includes multiple output ports, typically offering both the Canon dummy battery output and a standard DC output barrel plug with variable voltage settings, making it adaptable for powering a secondary device simultaneously.

Safety and monitoring are integrated into the design. The pack includes a clear LED display or indicator lights that show remaining battery capacity and charge status. Built-in protection circuits guard against over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit, and over-temperature conditions. Recharging is accomplished via a standard DC input port, with an included wall charger. By providing a reliable, high-capacity, and portable power solution, the Juicebox JB-JBE6-01 transforms the power management workflow for filmmakers and photographers, granting them the freedom to operate their Canon cameras for hours on end without interruption, which is especially crucial for solo operators and run-and-gun production styles.
