The KA-EN200G H.265/HEVC Streaming Encoder provides high compression efficiency when used with JVC's GY-HC500, GY-HC550, and GY-HC900 CONNECTED CAM camcorders. HEVC is far more efficient than the widely used H.264/AVC compression standard. Inserting this adapter into the expansion slot of the camcorder enables 1080p streaming using the H.265/HEVC codec. This results in higher quality images with reduced bandwidth, allowing you to use 10-bit, 4:2:2 sampling rather than typical 8-bit, 4:2:0. The KA-EN200G encodes video with standard, HLG, or J-Log gamma.
