The Katamount Scriptlinc is a specialized, high-tech clipboard with an integrated wireless timecode receiver and digital display. It is designed primarily for script supervisors, continuity personnel, and sound loggers in film and television production, allowing them to wirelessly receive and display real-time SMPTE/EBU timecode directly from the production audio mixer or master camera.

Because script supervisors are responsible for meticulous continuity logging and noting the exact timecode for every take, looking away from the action to read a distant camera slate can cause them to miss the exact start or stop frames. The Scriptlinc solves this by placing a large timecode readout right on the clipboard where they write their notes. Crucially, it features a "Hold" button that instantly freezes the running numbers the moment the director calls "Action" or "Cut," allowing the supervisor to accurately log the timecode without having to memorize it as it rolls by.
