The Kramer VM-12HDCP is a professional 1:12 distribution amplifier engineered to accept a single DVI-D signal and deliver it to twelve identical, buffered outputs with pristine signal integrity. Designed for mission-critical applications such as multi-screen video walls, digital signage, and rental/staging environments, this unit supports high-resolution video up to 1080p and UXGA while maintaining full HDCP compliance. Featuring Kramer's advanced Equalization and re-Klocking™ technology, the VM-12HDCP rebuilds and regenerates the digital signal to compensate for cable-induced degradation, enabling longer cable runs and reliable cascading of multiple units without signal loss. Installation flexibility is enhanced by Intelligent EDID Processing (I-EDIDPro™), which allows the unit to store and recall EDID information from connected displays in non-volatile memory, ensuring consistent and reliable source negotiation even when displays are powered down or disconnected. The rugged 1U rack-mountable enclosure includes front-panel active input and output LED indicators for immediate visual confirmation of signal status, along dedicated SELECT and READ buttons for convenient EDID management.
