The Kramer VM-4HDCPxl is a high-performance 1:4 distribution amplifier engineered specifically for DVI signals in professional AV environments. Designed for home theater, presentation, rental, and staging applications, this unit accepts a single DVI input and distributes it to four identical outputs while maintaining pristine signal integrity through advanced reclocking and equalization technology. The amplifier rebuilds and regenerates the digital signal to compensate for cable-induced degradation, enabling reliable transmission over extended distances without signal loss or degradation. Featuring Kramer's Intelligent EDID Processing (I-EDIDPro™), the VM-4HDCPxl ensures proper source-to-display handshaking through dedicated EDID SELECT and EDID READ controls, guaranteeing plug-and-play operation for any DVI system configuration. Fully HDCP compliant and HDTV compatible, it supports resolutions up to UXGA and 1080p with a maximum data rate of 6.75Gbps (2.25Gbps per graphic channel).
