Laowa Ranger S35 50-130mm T2.9 Compact Lens - MFT Mount

The Laowa Ranger S35 50-130mm T2.9 Compact Cine Lens is a professional telephoto cine zoom designed for Super 35 and APS-C cinema cameras. Its 50–130mm focal-length range provides a 32.2° to 12.7° angle of view, making it suitable for portraiture, compressed perspectives, detail shots, interviews, events, documentary work, and narrative cinematography. The lens maintains a constant T2.9 aperture throughout the entire zoom range, allowing consistent exposure while zooming.

The lens features a parfocal optical design that maintains focus while changing focal length, making it practical for controlled cinematic zooms. Its optical construction consists of 17 elements in 13 groups, with an 11-blade aperture diaphragm. The 75 cm minimum focusing distance and 0.18x maximum magnification provide useful close-focusing capability for detailed compositions.

Designed specifically for professional cine operation, the lens incorporates 0.8 MOD gearing on its focus, iris, and zoom rings. The 270° focus throw provides precise manual focus control, while the 100° zoom throw and 42° aperture throw allow predictable operation with standard cinema accessories. Dual metric and imperial focus scales are provided for production workflows.

The compact housing measures approximately 80 × 135.9mm and weighs approximately 760g in the standard version, making it suitable for handheld, gimbal, drone, and other mobile production configurations. It has an 80mm front diameter and 77mm filter thread. The Ranger S35 series uses an ARRI PL mount by default, with interchangeable mounts available for compatible camera systems; the requested MFT-fit configuration is therefore not directly listed as a native mount by Laowa, so the mount should be verified if the item is specifically being sold as an MFT configuration.
