Legrand Chief Series CMS0305 Adjustable Extension Column/ Pole

The Legrand Chief Series CMS0305 Adjustable Extension Column is a professional mounting extension designed to lower projectors and other compatible equipment to the required installation height. The column provides an adjustable range from 36 to 60 inches, with 1-inch adjustment increments, allowing installers to achieve precise positioning without replacing the extension with a different fixed-length column. It is designed for use with Chief mounting systems and compatible 1.5-inch NPT accessories.

The CMS0305 features a notched adjustment design that allows the column length to be changed without complete disassembly. A set screw is included to improve rigidity after positioning, while the threaded construction allows the column to connect with compatible ceiling plates and other Chief accessories. This design is intended to simplify installation while maintaining a secure connection between the mounting components.

The column consists of a 1.5-inch NPT threaded extension and is rated to support up to 500 lb (226 kg), subject to the capacity limitations of the other components used in the complete mounting system.
