The Leitch DTD-5225 is an LED digital clock specifically engineered for precision timekeeping and display within professional broadcast and video editing facilities. It features bright, highly visible seven-segment digits that are 2.25 inches tall, with adjustable brightness to suit various ambient lighting conditions. The clock's robust design allows for flexible installation options, including standard wall mounting or optional rackmount conversion using included adapters. A key feature is its versatile three-way reference capability, allowing it to operate as a self-setting timecode-reading clock with SMPTE/EBU timecode input, on an internal quartz time base with battery backup, or synchronized with the 50/60 Hz AC power line frequency. This ensures seamless integration into existing clock systems and reliable, accurate time even in the event of power interruptions. Users can select the display format to show hours, minutes, and seconds (HH:MM:SS) or minutes, seconds, and frames (MM:SS.FF), as well as toggle between 12/24 hour and date displays.
