The Leitch DTD-5200 is a professional 1RU digital time and date display clock engineered specifically for broadcast facilities, television production studios, and master control rooms. It provides highly accurate, synchronized timekeeping by reading standard broadcast timecode signals.

Because television networks and live production environments require every single piece of equipment—and every operator—to be perfectly synchronized to the exact same frame, standard quartz wall clocks are entirely insufficient. The DTD-5200 solves this by locking directly onto an incoming SMPTE or EBU Longitudinal Timecode (LTC) signal. This ensures the bright LED display perfectly matches the master facility clock, preventing timing errors during live broadcasts, commercial breaks, and synchronized recording sessions.
