About the Lex 20 Amp PowerCon Extension Cable

The Lex 20 Amp PowerCON Extension Cable is a professional power extension designed for stage fixtures and other equipment that uses standard PowerCON connections. It provides a dependable way to extend power between compatible devices while maintaining a secure locking connection, making it well suited to entertainment, production, convention, and trade-show environments. The cable is part of the Lex Products PowerFLEX range and is identified by the PE700J-xxx-PCN model series.

This extension cable uses premium Neutrik PowerCON connectors with a locking mechanism designed to help prevent accidental disconnection during operation. The connector configuration consists of a grey PowerCON connector and a blue PowerCON connector, providing a dedicated power interconnection solution for compatible equipment.

The cable is constructed with #12/3 Type SJOOW black cord, providing the heavy-duty cable construction required for professional applications. Lex specifies the assembly for 20 Amp, 208 VAC, 2-pole, 3-wire operation, while the PowerCON connectors themselves are rated at 250 VAC.

Available in several standard lengths, the PE700J-xxx-PCN series can be selected to suit different equipment layouts and power-distribution requirements. Standard lengths documented by Lex include 5, 10, 15, 25, and 50 feet, with other lengths documented in Lex product literature.
