The Luminex Ethernet-DMX8 is a professional, tour-grade lighting network interface designed to bridge complex IP-based lighting networks with traditional serial DMX512 fixtures. Widely considered an industry standard for large-scale concert tours, theatrical productions, and broadcast studios, it takes multi-universe network protocols (like Art-Net and sACN) from a lighting console and decodes them into eight distinct physical DMX outputs.

Because massive lighting rigs require bidirectional communication to remotely monitor fixture health and change addresses, the Ethernet-DMX8 is fully RDM (Remote Device Management) compatible. It also features an integrated Ethernet switch with dual Neutrik etherCON ports, allowing lighting technicians to seamlessly daisy-chain multiple nodes together in a dimmer beach without needing to introduce standalone network switches into the rack.
