Magewell Pro Convert NDI to HDMI

The Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI is a professional IP video decoder designed to convert live NDI network streams into HDMI output for connection to displays, projectors, monitors, and other baseband video equipment. It is designed to bridge IP-based media networks with conventional HDMI infrastructure, making it suitable for broadcast, live production, digital signage, corporate AV, education, and other professional video applications.

The unit can decode NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX, NDI HX2, and NDI HX3 streams at up to 2Kp60, as well as several additional IP streaming protocols including RTSP, HTTP, HLS, RTMP, and MPEG-TS over UDP/SRT/RTP. Integrated SpeedHQ, H.264, and H.265 video decoding provides compatibility with a broad range of network-based sources.

Although the decoder handles HD and 2K NDI sources, its HDMI output can be delivered at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 fps, allowing decoded HD content to be up-converted for display on compatible Ultra HD screens. Output timing is automatically optimized according to the EDID of the connected monitor, while embedded audio can be delivered through HDMI with support for 48 kHz, 8-channel audio.

For installation and system management, the Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI provides a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet interface, USB connectivity, PoE support, Web UI configuration, and centralized management through Magewell Control Hub. These capabilities make it suitable for distributed AV systems where network-based configuration and monitoring are important.
