Manfrotto 244 Variable Friction Magic Arm

The Manfrotto 244 Variable Friction Magic Arm with Camera Bracket is a professional support arm designed for precise positioning of cameras, lights, studio equipment, and other compatible accessories. Its variable-friction mechanism allows the arm to be positioned and locked securely, providing flexible equipment placement for photography, video production, and studio applications. Manfrotto specifies a maximum payload of 3 kg (6.6 lb).

The arm extends to 53 cm (20.9 inches), providing a useful range for positioning equipment around a camera, lighting stand, or other support structure. An ergonomic locking knob allows the friction to be adjusted while securing the arm's position, helping users make controlled adjustments without requiring separate locking controls for each joint.

The 244 includes the 143BKT camera bracket, providing a mounting solution for compatible cameras and accessories. The arm features 5/8-inch (16 mm) stud attachments and female threaded connections, giving it broad compatibility with Manfrotto support equipment and the 035 Super Clamp.

Constructed from aluminium and stainless steel, the 244 combines a durable professional build with portability for use between locations. Its versatile mounting configuration makes it suitable for positioning cameras, LED lights, studio lighting, umbrellas, and other equipment where adjustable and secure support is required.
