This spring-operated clamp securely grips round tubes, pipes, bars, flats, gobos, and reflectors within a clamping range of 5 to 40 millimeters (0.2 to 1.6 inches) in diameter. The inclusion of rubberized jaw pads protects equipment surfaces from scratches, scuffs, and other damage, ensuring that lighting stands, backdrops, and other valuable gear remain in pristine condition.

Constructed from durable steel with a black powder-coated finish, the Art 175 is built to withstand the rigors of daily professional use. The clamp measures approximately 156 millimeters (6.14 inches) in length and weighs 320 grams (11.3 ounces), striking an excellent balance between robust grip strength and portable weight. Beyond its primary clamping function, the Manfrotto 175 features an integrated multi-interface hub that includes a 5/8-inch (16mm) male stud, a 5/8-inch (16mm) female socket, and a 3/8-inch threaded female connection.
