The high-performance XP118 subwoofer is designed for indoor use with the XP12 and XP15 full-range loudspeakers to extend the low frequency operating range of the combined system down to 42Hz. The powered subwoofer can be used singly, stacked in omni or cardioid mode, or flown.

An onboard convection-cooled Class D amplifier provides a chest-thumping 2000 watts of peak output power to the 18-inch, long excursion, 4-inch voice coil LF driver. The amplifier’s DSP provides crossover, EQ, metering and control functions via a rotary encoder interface and multifunction color display on the rear panel.

Built to handle the rigors of road use, the XP188 enclosure is constructed from durable plywood finished in textured black paint. Its design incorporates four large reflex ports to reduce turbulent air noise at very high levels, two ergonomic side handles, and a 35mm pole-mount socket in the top surface.
