The Martin MAC Encore Wash WRM is a soft edge moving head for warm, incandescent-style performance lighting. Made by Martin Professional, this lighting fixture pairs a pure white 3000 K light source with vibrant CMY color mixing for rich color and premium white light. Martin built it as a direct replacement for the discontinued MAC TW1 and for tungsten Fresnel fixtures, adding color, movement, and quiet running.

The 3000 K tungsten emulation renders skin tones and sets with high CRI and TM-30 values that hold up on camera, and tuned LED refresh keeps it flicker-free. There is no color temperature variation during zoom and dimming. Color mixing runs from smooth pastels to saturated primaries, with variable color temperature correction that shifts tungsten toward daylight, true to the black body curve. A 6 position color wheel with interchangeable dichroic filters adds indexing, continuous rotation, and random color.

The electronic dimmer gives continuous dimming across four dimming curves, plus tungsten red-shift emulation, regular and random strobe, pulse effects, instant open, and blackout for precise shutter control. A Fresnel lens with a 1:4 zoom range washes from a tight beam to a wide, variable angle field that needs no heavy frost filter; an optional PC lens adds 1:5 zoom. An internal barndoor system with two blades and a tight iris crops the beam, and the Animotion FX System adds dynamic effects for mid-air and projection looks.

Convection and forced air cooling with user-selectable output versus sound level control keeps the fixture whisper quiet for theater, houses of worship, and studios, and at 28.5 kg (62.9 lb) it holds a high lumen-to-weight ratio.
