The MultiView AK1500 DP is a high-performance, professional-grade UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair / Cat5) video receiver designed for large-scale AV distribution. Acting as the endpoint of the MultiView extension system, it receives high-resolution analog video signals from a remote transmitter over standard network cable, making it a critical component for digital signage, stadium concourse displays, and sprawling corporate campuses.

Because running heavy, fragile VGA or analog component cables over hundreds of feet introduces severe signal degradation and exorbitant installation costs, AV integrators rely on UTP extension systems. The AK1500 DP solves the distance barrier by utilizing proprietary RepliSync and equalization technologies to push pristine UXGA video up to 1,500 feet over a single, inexpensive Cat5 cable. Furthermore, the "DP" (Dual Port) designation means the receiver acts as an active repeater, allowing technicians to daisy-chain multiple receivers together on a single run to feed a massive corridor of monitors without needing a separate distribution amplifier at every stop.
