About the Panasonic ET-D75LE1 Zoom Lens

The Panasonic ET-D75LE1 is a professional, ultra-wide-angle, ultra-short-throw zoom lens engineered for use with large-venue Panasonic DLP or 3-chip DLP projector models, such as the PT-DZ21K or PT-DZ13K series. Its primary function is to enable flexible installation in challenging spaces where throw distance is severely limited, such as museums, control rooms, planetariums, and immersive simulation environments. The lens achieves an exceptionally wide field of view from a very short distance to the screen, allowing for massive image projection even when the projector must be mounted extremely close to the projection surface, directly above it, or in a confined enclosure where traditional lenses would be impossible to use.

This lens features a motorized optical zoom and focus system, which is remotely adjustable via the projector's control interface or dedicated control systems. This allows installers and technicians to perfectly fit the projected image to the screen with pixel-level accuracy after the projector is physically mounted, eliminating the need for precise manual positioning and tedious physical adjustments. The lens is constructed with high-precision, multi-element glass optics designed to minimize geometric distortion, color fringing, and light falloff (vignetting) across the entire wide image, ensuring uniform brightness, sharpness, and color fidelity from the center to the corners of the screen. Its advanced coatings also manage internal reflections to maintain high contrast.

Built for integration into permanent, high-end installations, the ET-D75LE1 is a critical component for achieving specific projection mappings and overcoming architectural constraints. It is designed to maintain optical alignment and performance stability over years of continuous operation. Compatibility is specific to projector models with the corresponding lens mount and electronic communication interface. By providing a combination of an ultra-short throw ratio and the flexibility of motorized zoom, this lens empowers system designers to deploy large-scale, seamless projection in spaces that would otherwise be unsuitable, making it a specialized but essential tool for creating dramatic visual displays in premium fixed-installation applications.
