The Peavey Kosmos is a 1U rack-mountable audio enhancement processor designed to dynamically improve the low-end punch and high-end clarity of live sound PA systems, DJ rigs, and bass guitar setups. Rather than functioning as a traditional graphic equalizer that simply boosts existing frequencies, the Kosmos analyzes the source audio and actively synthesizes entirely new bass notes exactly one octave below the original fundamental frequencies.

Because simply cranking the bass EQ on a mixing console often results in muddy, distorted audio and blown speakers, the Kosmos provides a surgical way to add massive bottom-end weight to thin-sounding tracks without eating up precious amplifier headroom.
