The RME Fireface 802 FS is a robust, all-in-one professional audio solution for both live and studio applications, featuring 30 inputs and 30 outputs. It is built with newly developed analog and digital circuitry, incorporating premium AD/DA converters and RME's unique SteadyClock FS jitter suppression technology, which guarantees superior sound quality and exceptional stability even when clocking to external sources. 

The interface includes four high-performance, transparent microphone preamps utilizing classic OctaMic II technology, which can also be used as Hi-Z inputs for instruments like guitars. It features the powerful, DSP-driven TotalMix FX mixer, offering extensive routing, a built-in monitoring controller, and integrated effects like EQ, dynamics, and reverb at up to 192 kHz. The unit supports standalone operation with six memory slots for configuration recall and offers DC-coupled outputs for sending control voltages to modular synthesizers.
