Building on the success of its predecessor, the V-1HD, the V-1HD PLUS features a more advanced and robust design. Its four HDMI inputs with integrated frame rate conversion allow it to mix a variety of sources, such as cameras, computers, tablets, and gaming consoles, with the built-in scaler on input 4 handling problematic sources that don't display correctly. The switcher includes two independent HDMI outputs, which can be configured for a variety of tasks like sending the program feed to a recorder or livestream and using the second output for a multiviewer display. The user-friendly interface is designed for easy operation, with intuitive controls including dedicated buttons for transitions, a T-bar for smooth fades, and eight memory presets for storing and recalling visual layouts. 
For audio, the V-1HD PLUS boasts a 14-channel digital audio mixer that can mix embedded audio from the HDMI inputs with external audio sources. It includes two XLR inputs with phantom power for professional microphones, as well as an 1/8-inch input for lavalier mics or smartphones and RCA stereo inputs. Each audio input comes with a 3-band EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, noise gate, and sync delay, while the XLR and 1/8-inch inputs also have de-essers for broadcast-quality sound. The powerful four-layer effects engine, featuring a downstream keyer (DSK), supports advanced compositions like picture-in-picture, split screens, and title overlays.
