The PS-8 is a robust power supply unit intended for professional broadcast and live event production environments. It is engineered to provide clean, stable power to the intercom lines in a two-channel system. The unit is capable of powering a substantial number of intercom devices over standard microphone cables, ensuring system stability and audio quality. It features electronic short-circuit protection for each channel, automatically shutting down power to a specific line in the event of a fault and restoring it when the fault is corrected, without affecting the other channel. The unit also includes front-panel indicators to monitor the status of each channel.
