RUCKUS R610 Indoor 802.11ac Wave 2 3x3:3 Wi-Fi Access Point

$258.99

The RUCKUS R610 is a mid-range enterprise-grade access point that leverages 3x3:3 spatial streams of Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) technology. This technology allows the AP to communicate simultaneously with multiple Wave 2 client devices, drastically improving network efficiency and overall throughput for all users, including those with legacy (non-Wave 2) devices. The R610 utilizes Ruckus's patented BeamFlex+ adaptive antenna system, which dynamically chooses from over 500 potential antenna patterns per band to establish the best connection with each device in real time, significantly mitigating interference and extending coverage. The AP also features dual Gigabit Ethernet ports which support link aggregation (LACP) for expanded backhaul and faster data transfer to the wired switch. It is a flexible device that can be managed in a standalone, controller-less setup (using Ruckus Unleashed software), or through cloud/on-premises management systems like SmartZone or ZoneDirector.

  • High Performance Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2): Delivers a combined peak data rate of up to 1.75 Gbps (1300 Mbps on 5 GHz and 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz).
  • MU-MIMO 3x3:3: Employs three spatial streams of Multi-User MIMO to connect more devices simultaneously and improve overall network efficiency.
  • ChannelFly Technology: A dynamic channel management technology that uses machine learning to automatically find the least congested Wi-Fi channels, ensuring optimal throughput.
  • Flexible Management Options: Can be deployed as a standalone AP, or managed via on-premises physical or virtual appliances (ZoneDirector, SmartZone), or Ruckus Cloud management.
  • Dual Gigabit Ethernet Ports with Link Aggregation: Features two 1GbE ports that can be aggregated (LACP) to maximize backhaul throughput to the switch.
  • IoT Readiness: Includes a USB 2.0 port (Type A connector) for hosting IoT devices or technologies like BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) Support: The unit is powered by 802.3af/at PoE, simplifying installation by delivering power and data over a single cable.
