About the Sanyo LNS-T31A Long Zoom Projector Lens F/2-F/2.9

The Sanyo LNS-T31A is a motorized telephoto long-zoom lens engineered specifically for Sanyo's line of high-brightness, interchangeable-lens installation projectors (most notably the highly popular PLC-XP series, including the PLC-XP100L and PLC-XP200L). When a venue's architecture dictates that a projector must be mounted far away from the screen—such as high up in a rear projection booth, at the back of a large sanctuary, or behind a deep auditorium audience—the LNS-T31A provides the necessary optical magnification to maintain a tightly framed image without light spilling onto the surrounding walls.

Despite projecting over long distances, this lens is designed with a relatively wide aperture range of f/2.0 to f/2.9. This high-quality glass construction ensures maximum light transmission, meaning you won't lose massive amounts of projector brightness just because the unit is positioned at the back of the room. Like most professional Sanyo lenses, it interfaces directly with the projector's internal motors for completely remote adjustments.
