Description

The Sennheiser e 901 is a professional, condenser boundary microphone optimized for capturing kick drums, bass, and Leslie cabinets, and other low-frequency sound sources on stage or in the studio.

The e 901 features a capsule with an extremely thin, high-strength diaphragm that delivers exceptional signal reproduction with low bass response and fast transient signals without peak distortion.

The half-cardioid polar pattern eliminates unwanted noise and reflections from the mounting surface for a clean and present sound.

No stand is needed as the e 901 can be positioned inside a kick drum laying over a towel or pillow—close to the beater for picking up the attack. Alternately, it can also be used on a lectern, conference table, altar, theatrical stage, or pianos and percussion to capture full-bodied voice or instrument sound.
