About the Sennheiser EM 6000 Dante Two-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver (US: 470 to 714 MHz)

The Sennheiser EM 6000 is a high-end, two-channel digital wireless receiver designed for seamless integration into professional Dante audio-over-IP networks. Operating across a wide US frequency range (470 to 714 MHz), this receiver captures audio from two compatible Sennheiser transmitters and outputs it directly as Dante digital audio streams, bypassing analog conversion entirely. This allows for pristine, multi-channel audio to be distributed over a standard Ethernet network to mixing consoles, recording systems, or DSP units anywhere on the network with near-zero latency and perfect synchronization. It represents the convergence of top-tier wireless microphone technology with modern networked audio infrastructure.

The unit features advanced digital processing, true diversity reception, and comprehensive remote control and monitoring via software. Its wide tuning range offers exceptional flexibility for frequency coordination in dense RF environments. The EM 6000 is engineered for mission-critical applications in broadcast facilities, large touring productions, and fixed installations where the highest audio quality, network scalability, and operational reliability are demanded. It effectively future-proofs wireless audio systems by making them an integral part of the IT-based audio network.
