Sennheiser LA 2 Charging Adapter

The Sennheiser LA 2 is a professional charging adapter designed to allow compatible Sennheiser evolution wireless handheld transmitters to be charged using the L 2015 charging unit. It provides a dedicated mechanical interface for handheld transmitters equipped with the appropriate rechargeable battery configuration, eliminating the need to remove the battery for charging. The adapter is particularly suited to professional wireless microphone systems used in live performance, broadcast, corporate presentation, theater, education, and installed audio applications.

The LA 2 is designed for use with Sennheiser's BA 2015 rechargeable battery installed in compatible handheld transmitters. When inserted into an L 2015 charger, the adapter positions the handheld transmitter for direct charging through the charger's charging contacts. This provides a convenient workflow for maintaining wireless microphone transmitters between performances, rehearsals, presentations, and production sessions without requiring a separate handheld-transmitter charging system.

The adapter carries Sennheiser article number 503162 and is specified as an accessory for the L 2015 charging platform. Sennheiser documentation identifies the LA 2 as a charging adapter for handheld transmitters from the evolution wireless G3/G4 families, while the current product documentation specifically identifies its use with G3 handheld transmitters. The adapter itself does not contain a battery and functions as a mechanical and electrical charging interface rather than as an independent power source.

With a product weight of approximately 130 g and dimensions of 114 x 56 x 150 mm, the LA 2 remains compact enough for professional wireless-system transport and storage. The supplied configuration specified in the listing includes the original box, while Sennheiser lists the LA 2 as a single charging adapter. The manufacturer specifies a two-year warranty for the current product listing.
