The Shure AD1 Bodypack Transmitter (X55 Band: 941–960 MHz) is a professional digital wireless bodypack transmitter designed for use with Shure Axient® Digital Wireless Systems. Built for broadcast television, live touring, theatre productions, corporate events, and professional audio applications, the AD1 delivers outstanding RF reliability, pristine digital audio quality, and secure wireless transmission. Operating within the X55 frequency band (941–960 MHz), it offers flexible frequency coordination for licensed professional wireless deployments.

Engineered with a lightweight yet rugged metal enclosure, the AD1 supports both AA batteries and the Shure SB900C rechargeable lithium-ion battery, providing flexible power options for long production days. Its bright backlit LCD displays frequency, battery status, RF signal, and operating parameters, while external charging contacts allow convenient charging without removing the rechargeable battery.

The transmitter operates in both Standard Mode for maximum RF range and High Density Mode for increased channel capacity in crowded RF environments.
