The Shure FP16A is a professional 1-in, 6-out audio distribution amplifier designed to take a single microphone or line-level signal and provide multiple, isolated, and buffered outputs for routing to various destinations. Its primary function is to solve a common problem in audio systems: splitting a critical signal—such as a podium microphone, main program feed, or recorded playback—to multiple consoles, recorders, broadcast feeds, or processors without signal degradation, ground loops, or loading issues. The unit provides complete electrical isolation between its outputs, ensuring that a problem on one downstream device (like a short or different grounding potential) does not affect the signal sent to any other connected equipment.
