The white MX202W-A/S Microflex Overhead Supercardioid Microphone with Stand Mount Adapter and XLR Connector from Shure is designed to capture high-quality audio in a compact adjustable package for applications such as miking a choir, distance learning in a classroom, and for live stage and theater environments with performance groups.
The MX202W-A/S overhead uses a modular design with interchangeable mic cartridges; this model features a supercardioid capsule attached to a flexible 4" gooseneck and a 30' cable. All of the mic capsules offer a wide dynamic range and a 50 Hz to 17 kHz frequency response.
Other features include a balanced, transformerless output for increased immunity to noise and an updated RF Immune TA4F connector (connection to the preamp) now made of metal instead of plastic, which provides additional shielding.
