Designed for athletes and active performers, the Shure Q5X QT-AD10PS PlayerMic Short is an ultracompact, thin, and flexible digital wireless bodypack transmitter compatible with Axient Digital series receivers. The tiny transmitter features a rugged and bendable polymer casing engineered to be safe and extremely comfortable to wear, allowing sportspeople, performers, and entertainers to forget the transmitter is there at all. The PlayerMic Short offers a LEMO 1-pin connector ready to accommodate the compatible lavalier of your choice (available separately) and is well suited to a wide variety of uses, including location shooting, reality TV, entertainment events, and sports broadcasting. Setup is handled remotely via the QX5's Remote Control Audio System (RCAS) using the handheld MicCommander module (available separately). This short version of the transmitter provides up to 4 hours of operation on its built-in rechargeable battery and features a selectable 2/10/20mW RF output power.
