The Sony VPLL-FM22 is a fixed short-throw lens designed for seamless integration with compatible Sony projectors, such as those in the VPL-F series, VPL-PX35, and VPL-PX40 models. It uses a manual focus adjustment system and a wide f/2.0 aperture that passes ample light for bright images. This lens provides a throw ratio of 0.87:1 for WUXGA models or 0.89:1 for XGA models, allowing a large image to be projected even when the projector is positioned close to the screen. For instance, a 100-inch diagonal image can be projected from a distance of approximately 6 feet 2 inches. The lens supports screen sizes ranging from 40 to 300 inches, offering flexibility for various installation needs.
