Description
The Soundcraft AES/EBU 8-In/8-Out D-Sub Card (model A520.003000SP) is a single-slot expansion card that adds 8 input and 8 output channels of AES/EBU digital audio to compatible Soundcraft Si Series consoles, including the Expression, Performer, and Compact models. It provides connectivity via a 25-pin D-Type connector. The card allows for high-quality, 24-bit/96kHz digital audio transmission with minimal latency and no signal degradation. A dedicated BNC connector for word clock output ensures accurate synchronization with other digital equipment. This makes it ideal for interfacing with external effects processors, digital recorders, and broadcast gear in live, studio, or broadcast environments.
