Description

The Tannoy CVS401 is a 4-inch coaxial in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for installation applications, offering a balance of sound quality and reliability. It features a 4" polypropylene driver with a butyl rubber surround, a 0.75" ferrofluid-cooled, soft dome tweeter, and is certified for use in fire-protected and air-handling spaces. The speaker is suitable for both background and foreground music systems in various settings like restaurants, hotels, and businesses.

  • Coaxial Design : The speaker combines a 4-inch mid/bass driver and a 0.75-inch tweeter in a coaxial arrangement for consistent sound dispersion.
  • High-Quality Drivers : The polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround of the mid/bass driver enhance durability and long-term performance. The high-frequency driver is ferrofluid-cooled for enhanced performance and reliability.
  • Wide Dispersion : The wide, constant directivity dispersion ensures optimal coverage for the intended listening area.
  • Installation-Friendly : The speaker includes a steel back can, security toggle clamps, and included tile support rails for easy installation.
  • Transformer Taps : It features multiple transformer taps for 70V and 100V line systems, as well as an 8 Ohm direct input, offering flexibility for different setups.
