To support the industry's transition to IP-based workflows, the SPG8000A includes comprehensive support for PTP (Precision Time Protocol) as defined by SMPTE ST 2059-2 and AES67 standards. It is designed for maximum uptime with dual hot-swappable power supplies and can be equipped with an integrated GPS/GLONASS receiver to serve as a stratum 1 primary reference clock.
