This compact, plug-and-play converter accepts a single-mode optical SDI input via a standard ST fiber connector and provides dual reclocked and amplified 3G-SDI outputs on industry-standard BNC connectors, enabling seamless integration of long-distance fiber infrastructure with local SDI equipment. Single-mode fiber operation supports transmission distances measured in kilometers, making this converter ideal for large-scale venues, stadiums, campus-wide video distribution, and remote production facilities.

True to Theatrixx's road-focused design philosophy, the xVision series eliminates the weakest links common in consumer-grade converters—fragile wall-wart power supplies, unreliable connectors, and weak enclosures. The unit features an integrated power supply with a locking Neutrik powerCON input and a built-in NEMA 5-15 Edison AC courtesy outlet capable of delivering up to 10 amps to power a nearby projector, television, laptop, or other device directly from the converter. The rugged metal chassis incorporates a magnetic stacking system with non-skid rubber pads, allowing multiple converters to be stacked securely on tabletops without gaffer tape—saving rental houses considerable time and material. Multiple mounting options including C-clamp, wall-mount adapter, LCD mount adapter, and belt adapter provide installation flexibility for any deployment scenario.
