The Theatrixx Technologies xVision Reversible Module (XVVRM-HDMIDA4) is a professional 1:4 HDMI 2.0 distribution amplifier engineered exclusively for the Theatrixx XVVRF8 8-Bay Reversible Rackmount Frame. This module accepts a single HDMI 2.0 input via a locking Type A connector and distributes the signal to four independent HDMI 2.0 outputs, each also featuring locking connectors to prevent accidental disconnection during live events or touring applications. A standout feature is the individual downscaling capability per output port, allowing installers to feed the same 4K source signal simultaneously to both 4K UHD displays and Full HD 1080p monitors without manual configuration changes at each display.

The module supports video bandwidth up to 18 Gbps (600 MHz single-link) and is fully compliant with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4, ensuring compatibility with protected 4K content from set-top boxes, Blu-ray players, and media servers. Video format support includes HDR 4K/2K at 60 fps (4:2:0 10-bit) as well as 4K/2K at 60 fps (4:4:4 8-bit), with embedded audio passthrough for DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital, DTS, and LPCM.

Designed for demanding touring and mission-critical environments, the module features a fully enclosed, self-contained chassis with no exposed PCBs, protecting sensitive electronics against electrostatic discharge, dust ingress, physical impact, and general wear. The reversible architecture allows technicians to insert the module in either direction within the 3RU XVVRF8 frame, positioning the locking HDMI input and four locking HDMI outputs at the front or rear of the rack to accommodate facility cabling layouts without requiring custom cables. All power is delivered via gold-plated redundant spring pins with magnetic retention, eliminating messy internal power cabling and external power bricks while ensuring the module remains securely powered and seated even during transportation or vibration-heavy operation. The module draws 20W of 12 V DC power directly from the XVVRF8 frame's dual redundant power supplies, with hot-swappable backup ensuring uninterrupted operation during power supply failure. For standalone applications, Theatrixx also offers the xVision XVVHDMIDA4, a self-contained version with an integrated power supply and locking powerCON connector.
