Theatrixx Technologies xVision Reversible Module (Dual Channel Fiber to 3G-SDI, Multimode, OpticalCON Quad)

The Theatrixx Technologies xVision Reversible Module is a professional dual-channel fiber to 3G-SDI converter designed for the demanding environments of live events, broadcast, and touring production. As part of the xVision Reversible Rackmount system, this module fits into an 8-bay 3RU frame, consolidating multiple converters into a single, organized chassis and eliminating the mess of individual power supplies and loose cabling.

The defining feature of this system is its true reversible design. The module can be inserted into the rack frame in either direction, allowing the fiber input and SDI output connections to be positioned on either the front or rear panel based on the specific wiring needs of the application. This provides unparalleled flexibility for system integrators working in tight or unconventional spaces.

The module converts an incoming dual-channel multimode OpticalCON Duo fiber signal into four 3G-SDI outputs (two per fiber channel). These reclocked and amplified outputs ensure a clean, robust signal suitable for long cable runs. Power is delivered to the module via gold-plated, redundant spring pins with magnetic retention, eliminating internal cabling and ensuring a secure, maintenance-free connection. The fully enclosed aluminum housing protects sensitive electronics from static shock, dust, and the general wear and tear of touring.
