About the TILTA BS-T10 15mm LWS Professional Quick Release Baseplate

The Tilta BS-T10 is a heavy-duty 15mm LWS (Lightweight Support) baseplate featuring an integrated shoulder pad and a VCT-U14 compatible quick-release wedge. Designed for mid-sized digital cinema cameras (like the Canon C-Series, Sony FS7, and RED systems), it serves as the foundational bridge that allows an operator to instantly transition a fully built camera package from a locked-off tripod to a handheld shoulder rig.

Because completely tearing down a camera rig to switch between sticks and handheld kills momentum on a fast-paced set, the BS-T10 combines all necessary grip, rod, and tripod mounts into a single, unified block of CNC-machined aluminum. By simply pulling the release lever on a broadcast tripod plate, the AC can lift the entire camera system off the head and hand it directly to the operator to throw on their shoulder.
