About the tvONE TASK 1T-CT-422 Video Receiver

The tvONE 1T-CT-422 (part of the TV One-Task series) is the receiver half of an active RGBHV (VGA) over Cat.5/Cat.5e extension system. It is designed to be paired with a compatible transmitter (like the 1T-CT-421) to push analog PC video over long distances using standard twisted-pair networking cable, eliminating the need to pull thick, rigid VGA cables through walls and conduits.

Because analog video signals naturally attenuate and lose high-frequency data over long cable runs, the 1T-CT-422 features manual adjustment dials. By tweaking the Gain and Equalization (EQ) settings on the box, an AV technician can compensate for the signal loss and restore the image's brightness and sharpness right at the display end. It also utilizes TV One-Task locking power connectors to prevent accidental power loss in permanent installations.
