The Vanco VPW-280577 is an HDMI extender designed to transmit high-definition video and audio signals over a single coaxial cable, surpassing the distance limitations of standard HDMI cables. This solution is particularly useful in existing structures where coaxial cabling is already present, removing the need to install new infrastructure.

The system extends 1080p Full HD resolution signals up to 328 feet (100 meters) when using RG-6 coaxial cable, or up to 164 feet (50 meters) with RG-59 cable. The extender works with HDMI and HDCP compliant devices and automatically adjusts feedback, equalization, and amplification for optimal signal transmission. It also supports bi-directional IR control signals, allowing users to control the source device from the display location or vice versa. The compact metal transmitter and receiver units feature LED indicators for power and signal status and offer robust ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protection.
