The VS7500 Violin/Viola Stand keeps a small bowed string instrument out of its cases and ready to play, yet still safe and secure. This sturdy stand holds and provides ease of access to a violin or viola regardless of its size. To fit a wide range of instruments, the upper yoke adjusts in height. The instrument’s headstock is cradled by a yoke while the instrument’s body securely rests against two legs of the stand. Soft rubber padding on the yoke and legs increases traction for a nonslip hold and also protects the instrument’s finish against scratches. To keep the instrument balanced and prevent forward tipping, the stand’s base is slightly tilted back while a removable yoke strap ensures the instrument’s headstock can’t be bumped off the yoke.
