About the Wacom Cintiq 22HD Touch Screen Display

The Wacom Cintiq 22HD Touch (Model DTH-2200) is a professional-grade 21.5-inch interactive pen display designed for digital illustrators, 3D sculptors, and animators. Serving as a massive digital canvas, it allows artists to draw, paint, and edit directly on the screen's surface rather than relying on a disconnected traditional graphics tablet and a separate computer monitor.

Because relying strictly on a keyboard for canvas navigation can severely disrupt an artist's creative flow, the 22HD Touch integrates capacitive multi-touch technology alongside Wacom's electromagnetic resonance (EMR) pen tracking. This allows an artist to hold the stylus in their dominant hand to draw, while simultaneously using the fingers of their non-dominant hand to intuitively pan, zoom, and rotate the digital canvas exactly as they would manipulate a physical sketchbook on a desk.
