About the Williams Sound Personal P.A. Tour Guide System Kit

The Williams AV (formerly Williams Sound) Personal PA Tour Guide System (often sold as the TGS PRO 737 or 738 kit) is a portable, wideband FM wireless listening system designed to help tour groups overcome high background noise and distance from the speaker. It is frequently deployed in loud factory environments, college campus tours, museums, and cruise ships to ensure crystal-clear, one-way audio transmission directly from the guide to the participants.

Because it operates over standard 72-76 MHz FM frequencies, it is fully compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for hearing assistance. Rather than shouting over machinery or ambient crowds, the guide speaks in a normal voice into a headset microphone connected to a sleek bodypack transmitter. The audience listens via individual pocket-sized receivers equipped with their own volume controls.
