Add the E2N 4K NDI Camera from Z CAM to your NDI ecosystem and enjoy NDI and SSP support on a compact box camera that features an MFT lens mount and a 4/3" dual native ISO CMOS sensor with the capability of capturing resolutions up to 4K60. The E2N can handle H.265 and H.264 via NDI|HX3 and NDI|HX formats, as well as via SSP. The camera offers tally control via NDI and PoE+ (Power over Ethernet). An SD card slot provides internal recording options, but you can also record to an external recording system using the HDMI output. A web-based user interface and a full set of open API can be employed for control and monitoring.

About the Z CAM E1509 E2N 4K NDI Camera

The Z CAM E1509 E2N is a professional 4K box camera purpose-built for IP-based live production, streaming, and broadcast applications. Certified for NDI HX3, the camera delivers visually lossless video transmission with low latency over standard Gigabit Ethernet networks, using a fraction of the bandwidth required by Full NDI. The compact camera body houses a 4/3-inch CMOS sensor with an 11.5-stop dynamic range, capturing 4K UHD video at up to 60 frames per second and 1080p high-frame-rate footage at up to 240 fps. Dual native ISO settings at 500 and 2500 provide excellent low-light performance while maintaining exceptional image cleanliness and color accuracy.

Connectivity is optimized for modern networked production environments. The Gigabit Ethernet port supports PoE+ (Power over Ethernet), delivering both power and data through a single cable, simplifying installation in multi-camera setups. NDI tally control is built-in, allowing seamless integration with live production switchers and conferencing platforms. For applications requiring traditional outputs, an HDMI 2.0 Type A port provides 4K60 monitoring and external recording capability. The camera also features simultaneous streaming of NDI and SSP (Z CAM's proprietary streaming protocol), offering redundancy and flexibility in mission-critical productions.

The Micro Four Thirds lens mount with active lock provides compatibility with a wide range of interchangeable lenses, from compact primes to professional cinema glass. Onboard recording is supported via SDXC UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3) cards, with H.265 and H.264 encoding options in MOV or MP4 containers. A web-based user interface and open API enable remote control, monitoring, and configuration from any network-connected device, making the E2N ideal for broadcast studios, houses of worship, esports arenas, and live event production.
