Z CAM P2-R1N Pan-Tilt-Zoom Camera

The Z CAM P2-R1N is a professional 4K PTZ camera designed for live production, broadcasting, streaming, video conferencing, education, corporate AV, worship, and remote-production environments. The camera combines a large-format CMOS sensor with a motorized optical zoom lens, phase-detection autofocus, and precision pan-and-tilt control. The P2-R1N is available in 18x and 24x optical-zoom configurations, providing flexible framing from wide establishing shots to detailed long-distance close-ups.

The 18x version uses a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and provides a 36–648 mm 35mm-equivalent focal-length range, while the 24x version uses a 1/1.5-inch sensor with a 32–768 mm equivalent range. Both configurations support UHD 4K video at up to 59.94/60 fps through HDMI, IP, and USB-C outputs. Phase-detection autofocus provides rapid subject acquisition, while electronic image stabilization and Z CAM color processing support consistent image quality during remotely operated production.

The P2-R1N is particularly suited to IP-based production workflows, supporting NDI|HX3 alongside RTMP, RTMPS, RTSP, SRT, SSP, and UVC streaming technologies. It provides HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI, Gigabit Ethernet/IP, and USB-C video connectivity, as well as Genlock and VISCA control interfaces. Integrated AI auto-framing and intelligent tracking can automatically maintain subject composition, while Free-D support enables integration with AR/VR and virtual-production systems.

Precision PTZ operation provides 350° of pan movement and 240° of tilt movement, with adjustable pan and tilt speeds from 0.1° to 180° per second and positioning accuracy down to 0.01°. The camera supports IR, VISCA over RS-422, VISCA over IP, web-client, and USB control, with programmable preset positions and an integrated tally light. PoE+ operation allows power to be delivered over compatible Ethernet infrastructure, while the fanless design and compact black enclosure make the P2-R1N suitable for permanent installations and mobile professional production systems.
